Jillian Hurt serves as the Program Manager for the Shaping Young Worshipers Initiative at the Dunn Center for Christian Music Studies. In this research grant-funded role, she manages the day-to-day operations of the grant, including recording budget and spending. She works closely with Principal Investigator Dr. Maria Monteiro to plan and communicate regarding events, learning communities, and other grant initiatives. Additionally, Jillian travels to conferences and events to support the grant's mission and assists with various other initiatives across the Dunn Center.

Jillian holds a Master of Divinity in Ministry Leadership from George W. Truett Theological Seminary, a Master of Music in Church Music from Baylor University, and a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Union University. She also brings previous experience to the Dunn Center, having served as a Graduate Assistant during her time at Baylor.

In addition to her work at Baylor, Jillian brings over fifteen years of ministry leadership experience. Prior to her current role, she spent the last decade serving as the Music and Spiritual Life Minister at the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, Texas, working with at-risk youth, alongside her earlier experience serving in local churches.

Jillian and her husband, Garrett, share their home with a lively crew of fur babies: a Golden Retriever named Ranger, a Poodle named Waylon, and bonded Russian Blue cat brothers, Teddy and August.
