The Dunn Center for Christian Music Studies at Baylor offers unique learning opportunities for students and the surrounding community. Guest artists, composers and scholars are brought to campus each semester to share their innovative ways of spreading the love of Christ throughout the world.
40 Collective
The 40 Collective is a worship ensemble that seeks to serve the church by leading worship for various groups, including churches, youth groups, and other events. The group is made up of undergraduate and graduate church music students. With additional opportunities to lead, the 40 Collective offers further training in worship leadership skills.
Alleluia Conference
The annual music and worship leadership conference, bringing together church musicians from around the country for practical training sessions.
Church Music Forum
Created to foster community and build relationships with all Church Music majors and minors, providing a space to engage in conversation and hear from ministry practitioners.
Hearn Innovators Series
A 3-day residency for guest artists and church leaders to engage with Baylor students through presentations, class discussions, and meals.
Music & Missions
Building international partnerships and maintaining relationships, the CCMS Music and Missions program gives students the opportunity to travel across the world to interact with music globally
Northcutt Lecture Series
An annual lecture designed to enhance the spiritual and academic life at Baylor University by bring prominent music scholars to campus.
Sacred Harp Sing
The annual shape note singing brings together musicians from near and far to sing through the Sacred Harp.
Worship Lab
A one-week training event for high-school students, receiving practical and theological training in music and worship leadership.
Youth Worship Workshops
The Dunn Center is excited to bring worship training opportunities directly to the local church through one-day worship workshops that bring together young musicians and experienced leaders.
